Does anyone know if there are any plans for the cutouts you need to make when you're making yourself a new plinth for the Lencos? I thought I had ono saved, but I can't find one anywhere now.
Many thanks, Philip

Hi Ropie,
Thanks for the reply. I decided to stop being such a wuss though and got on with it myself - not so bad. Only problem now is that I can't get the motor silent.

Just to make sure, have you decoupled the motor? There are couple of red screws underneath the platter which are used to tighten the motor into transport position. If those two are tightened the motor noise can be horrible 🙂
If not, there can be problems on your motor - at least needing a relube.

Hi Reko,
Yes - I've undone the transit bolts. I've dismantled, cleaned and re-lubed the bearings at both ends, but to no avail. I made a post on the new Audiogon Home Despot thread, and the concensus is that I have to check the wiring, and then try re-positioning the armature.... Sounds daunting.
