Hello fellows,
Thought it would only be fair to let you know.
This afternoon I've been appointed general manager for a group of companies.
Facing a hard task for years to come,I think it will be best to say goodbye to you all.
I wish to thank you all for the respect and friendship I encountered on this forum (the best) and with a tear in my eye I need to say goodbye to you all.
Well at least for a while.
To all who know me I say, please keep an open mind and keep the spirit of this forum alive.
Wishing you all the best,
Frank.

I will miss you
at least for a week.
But I also know that we forget faster
than we like to admit.
At a funeral of a friend, it may seem he never can be replaced
or forgotten.
But new days and years go by - "As Times Go By"
and little by little you are lost in the noise of time,
until it appears like you have never lived.
So this is the HardWired facts I give to you.
It was "nice to have you with us".
But how can you avoid to visit DIYaudio
once in a while?
Just to give us a quick reminder
of a person
that used to live in our minds.
So long, Groovy Fde
Rest in Peace!
---------------------------------------------------
all words come out of my mind
but the origin of any of my words
it not from me
The words and the meaning of them
comes out of interaction between
persons that used to live and lives
at least for a week.

Good luck with your new job
Frank,
i wish you well and good luck and success with your new task!
I wish you visions and foresight, good overview, doing a clear lead, asking the right QQ, right & fast decisions, good instinct & the right touch with people (employees, customers, suppliers, in that very order ) ... and whatever else is needed for such a demanding task.

Frank, "1386 (13.45 posts per day)" in record time is a full time job in itself.
I sincererely hope that you are able to share the same energy, enthusiasm, humour and knowledge as you have done here on DIY.
Good speaking to you the other day, and good luck always.
Eric.
