learn from recording consoles?

Hi Wavebourn,
As I previously mentioned, no. I lost all my manuals (8 filing cabinets worth) when I sold my shop. These manuals are huge, too big to copy. They come in a binder, about 2" or larger normally. The small touring consoles are much smaller, so are the 8 and 16 track recording consoles.

Chhis, I do not care of classifications, I just need specs and features.

Thanks anyway!

I will check the files at work and see if I can scare up something.

I'm not going to promise that I can turn something up but I will do my best.

God, I'm going to have nighmares tonight for sure because I'm remembering the very big Crest mixer that took three of us to carry into a college theatre system I did. That was one big da** mixer that almost got dropped.

Thanks a lot! 🙂

Speasking of Crest, 2 weekends ago I would like one to be dropped. Bass farted, piano sounded like through vintage headphones, drummer played like on bar stools and kitchen pots... They had a huge Crest Audio mixer, EV mics, Crown amps, JBL speakers, lots of graphic EQs and compressors on each channel... And there was a nice handheld spector analyzer on top of the mixer... Guys were proud and had a banner suggesting to hire them for sound reinforcements... 😀

And you know, if to stay near the stage, left or right, they sounded good from monitors and drums directly! 🙂

Hi Joe,

If we didn't go to service them, they came to us. Typically on a pair of skids in a 10 ton. We never did get one broken, but I saw one that was buckled in the center.
