My delta 70 was running ok then one channel suddenly became very very loud. I could only listen with the balance knob fully clockwise. I isolated the fault to one plug-in amlifier (not pre-amp) board. I have the circuit diagram, but need help to pin point the faulty component. Can anyone help please?
you think the fault is in the power amp section....(behind the volume control)?
at first i would search for a bad soldering point or a lost cable connection.

Thank you. The fault is definitely on one plug-in board, the amplifier board not the pre-amp. I have looked on the board for bad solder joints but not found any.
i guess........you have a multimeter..........
you can measure the voltage drops across some parts of the working channel and compare these with the bad channel. there should be a difference somewhere.

Hey Tony, welcome to diyAudio. You might have better luck if you post this somewhere other than the intro area. Not everyone looks in here.
