Your going to find different temps along the vertical orientation because of its length.
If the bias is low enough it might not be a issue though.
If the “U” shape were pointing up and horizontal it would stay overall more consistent

Hi.
You just confirm my thoughts, the heatsinks will be cut in half and mounted on a 3mm plate, so that's two transistors pr sink, mounted closely at the button, I'll try using bd139 instead of 1N4004 diodes, to get better tracking.
I'm aware it's not optimal design but I will give it a try.
I find the mechanical design and build is often really tricky, and often underrated, but I'm on budget and stuck with theese parts, of which I, most make the best use.
