Howdy jacco vermeulen,
Thanks for them links. I'll be reading up and doing some figuring now.
I read through the other thread you mentioned and found a picture of Jens amplifier, but this don't seem to be the one under discussion there. There's not a picture of this new one yet? Mr. kilowattski tells Mr. still4given "I am sure you have seen Jens layout and it is my personal opinion that it is simply better thought out". Sure like to see this and make my own judgement, seeing as how I intend to make up my mind about which amplifiers I'm going to build. Going to make more than one I guess. Thinking on that KSA50 clone version. But it's too late to get them pre made boards. Got me a copy of Corel Photopaint from my grandson and he's helping me figure how to use it for drawing circuits.
Anyway, thanks again for your help.

The Leach is back
This thread is nice for posting info on PCB design criteria :
Douglas Brooks of UltraCad wrote a great many articles on pcb tracing, free to download from :
http://www.ultracad.com/articles.htm
Nice one is the article on 90 degree cornering
The calculator page has programs to determine;
- trace temperature rise
- trace impedance
- AWG equivalent of trace width for different copper thickness.
- crosstalk between traces
- esr estimation for bypass capacitors
