RIAA circuit
Zverina,
First of all congratulations for your whole project. An excellent achievement.
About changing for good quality 'lytic types instead of tantalums is certainly a good move. Very few tantalum types are really reliable, and now we have excellent electrolytics, like Elna's, or Os-Cons.
It would be nice to have a chance to see your RIAA circuit and parts list, as I am investigating good sounding circuits for building one myself.

zverina said:It's a bit older design of line preamp + phono stage (ELEKTOR - Top Amp) originally based on tantal caps, but i don't like them so i've put ELNA's instead.

jerek: I tried both connected or disconnected, but i didn't hear any difference. We have quite ''clean'' electricity (small town, not too much industry...) I use nuclear power😀
I will post complete scheme of RIAA in couple of days.
CAPS:
PS: CAPXON 470uF + philips LL116 47uF, WIMA MKP 0,1 + ISKRA MKP 0,33uF
circuit: ELNA standard Audio grade + ELNA DUOREX II as output cap, others WIMA & ISKRA MKP's
Here's a closer look:
