This winters project is building a James Griffin type near field line array.
Driving the speakers will be a pair of Leach amplifiers through a Behringer DCX 2496 electronic crossover. This crossover has only XLR connects.
It seems with all the work involved, converting the amps to XLR would be a good idea. An ART CleanBOX Stereo Balanced/Unbalanced Converter can be had for as little as $50.00 each. But, this method will require three of them along with the cable rats nest.

Are there any other relatively simple solutions to converting the Leach amps to XLR? OK, even more complicated solutions?

If you are talking about converting the Leach amplifier to a balanced input, it ought to be possible to do this modification: lift R5 at the input end and duplicate R1, R2, and C1 for the input filter on the inverting side going to R5. I haven't tried this because I don't use balanced signals or have a convenient source.
Be aware that any DC offset on your signal source will be amplified! You should check for this and consider coupling capacitors or an isolation transformer if your sources causes an offset in excess of what is recommended.

Ooops.......should have mentioned that the Leach amps are already built. Modifying the circuit boards would not really be a very practical solution in this instance.
Currently the source(s) will come from a Lexicon surround processor (RCA) to the Behringer (only XLR in/out) and then to the amplifiers.
One ART CleanBOX attached to the Lexicon will be necessary to get the balanced signal to the Behringer. From there XLR out to the Leach amps.
Perhaps the simple solution is just two more $50 CleanBOX's.
