Leach Amp tactile power-on switch

Hy, I have seen an idea on this site, a push button which can be useful to power-up the entire amplifier, but because it cannot be connected directly to mains, he needs a relay to be "isolated"

Anyone knows a circuit that could do this, maybe a 555? i intend to use the exact push button from that site, it looks good.

How can i add a red LED to be lit when amp is off and blue when is on

Any idea, pls share it and if u know another resource on the net let me know, i'm sure many wants a circuit like this

Adrian,

Hi,
the push to make switch operates a latched relay.
The latch consists of a capacitor, 4 resistors, a FET or BJT, and a relay.
Damned if I can find the circuit to post here.
But I'll keep looking.

A LED+R across the relay will come on when the relay is pulled in.
A LED+R across transistor will stay on when the relay switcher is off.

That separate supply that Janneman mentioned can also supply the other relays that control soft start, delay on, instant off, DC detect, DC servo, etc.

I want to use for this project this circuit with a 555 timer, but i never worked with relays before
This circuit have LED indicators for on/off state

I studied relays a bit and for this circuit i need a relay to switch AC mains to my amp, a double pole relay for neutral and live wires

It is ok if i use 12 V coil and 10A AC rated contacts?
because my amp draw from mains no more then 6 amp
