Lars, just a question, why didn't you just "sniff" the oscillator signal at the emitter and via an emiiter follower (BJT or JFET) feed the signal to the HCMOS gate?
Peranders: As you might have noticed i did that in the first version of LClock 1. However i found that the noise at the xtal directly is lower, so you can get a better performance this way.

That's the one I have.😀
Maby with some very minor differences.
I think I bought my XO in 1999.
LCAudio?

Look that generator.... For my sense LCAudio - garbage, especialy it cost.

Aaah the old 'I can tell how it sounds and performs by looking at the schematic'.
As for cost, how much does the test equipment to measure phase noise / jitter to these levels cost these days?
Andy.
🙂
Are you compare LCAudio and Lynx generators? 🙂
Measuring... noise.. jitter... how many words! LCAudio - cheap and noisy circuit technique and ordinary components, look it. LCAudio - standard generator....

Re: LCAudio?
Anyway Yuri, what exactly is the garbage?
Looking at your schematics (are you the designer?) how does this design perform in numbers?
Biography school, military service in the KGB, university, hm interesting, especiall the KGB part 😱Yuri Birukov said:http://lynxaudio.narod.ru/schemes/sch_17.pdf

Are you discussing my biography or generators? 🙂

We can only speculate what that means 😀

I Like that one!
Hi Lars,
If I may call you Lars, I like your kind of humor!
Thanks for posting the XO2 schematic. Nice work 😉
Audiofanatic 😉

Here are the schematics of LClock XO3.
If you attempt to build it, please bear in mind, that full performance level can only be expected if the clock is built on a 4 layer PCB.
The drawing is a bit blurry, but i think you get the idea of the circuit anyway.
Since it is a commercially available product, i will not post a photo of this clock ..

Lars, you kinda may be sometimes a good company.Lars Clausen said:'Agent triple-x, you must report to headquarters immediately'.. perhaps 😉
Thanks for the schematics.
Since you are concerned about the supply noise, you might use lower noise opamps than 5532. I’ll not make a problem if I’ll see next year you use this advice for the commercial purposes.
(I saw one supply that, I suppose, has lower noise because it uses lower noise opamps and slightly quieter voltage reference… Elso uses it for his own DAC, ask him for the schematic…)

PS: Would someone say what does mean zavjazijvaj? And what is that font?
