pls let me know thx

You would have to take apart a LCD tv also. There is no setup difference between an LCD tv and a LCD computer monitor. They both have to be striped to be used for projection. The biggest difference between the two is an LCD tv has a built in tv tuner. A monitor does not so you would need a separate, external tuner to watch tv. An LCD tv could also come with more input options. (ie: composite & component)

Like DJ holmes suggested, a projector panel is the best option if you don’t want to tear apart a monitor. Sharp is the king of projector panels but Nview and Proxima are popular brands also. 2300 lumens is kind of low. You would only be able to see the screen in the dark, no ambient light at all. A different OHP with more lumens would be better if you can find one. I hope that helps.

Alright, I just figgured it out. It would cost me a small sum of $245 Canadian. I'll pass, haha.

Wait, your pal there anyways..and your plugs are all different. That would even cost me more to change!

I guess its back to the drawing board and time for me to find a nice OHP and a decent lcd.

Nice find!!!

VGA would be the quickest and easiest.

http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360vgahdcable/default.htm

The link you gave says that the projector will accept a component input but it doesn’t have a direct component input or say which input accepts it so you would have to find out if it accepts it thru the HD-15 VGA plug or thru the BNC R-G-B-H-V input. Based on which connection accepts the signal you would have to buy an adapter to plug it in. If it’s the VGA then again the Xbox’s VGAHD cable (above link) would work or you can find a component to VGA adaptor/cable.

If it’s the BNC input, you can get a female RCA to male BNC connector

and use the component cable, I’m assuming, you already have.
