Hello all,
I just moved into a house that has component cables prewired from the computer niche to the closet (can't remember exactly why at the moment). Anyway, I'd now like to put my CPU in the closet and connect it to the LCD monitor in the computer niche. My current graphics card (older GEFORCE MX440B AGP8X) and newer LCD monitor (19" Acer) both have VGA and DVI ports.
Does anybody have any idea how I might (inexpensively) connect my monitor to my graphics card utilizing the existing component cables through the wall. I've even thought about replacing the video card, if necessary, but would like to do so without shelling out too much.
Thanks in advance,
-Andy
