LCD : to conclude

Hello, I've got some questions :

-What is L.O.A ?

-Are all LCD transparents ?

-Is there any difference in LCD transparency ?

-I don't know if you will understand me... I try : I would like to input many things in LCD (TV, computer, magnetoscop) ; which connectic is the easier to connect whith Svideo, VGA, Peritel ?
To do this, I need a electronic module that can do this job, do you know about one ? - I don't know if you understand, but I don't know the right words to use...

-When I ask for a 16/9 lcd 7" or near, you said me I must prefer a 4/3 one... but how about the black lines ? (sometimes, black becomes grey...). So will I see thoses black lines ?

-You certainly know Akeem technic ; it is which I prefer... but do you think there is better ?

do you prefer : http://users.pandora.be/emmanuel.geeraert1/diyvp/

or : (with many lens) http://www.audiovisualizers.com/madlab/lcdproj/diy_vproj1.jpg

or overhead projector + lcd panel like this :http://www.louisville.edu/~wchall01/diyprojector/pics/the_combo.JPG

-Some people said me 640*480 wasn't enough to watch films...
but 1024*768 yes...
I look the manufacturers videoprojectors, and I see only 800*600... so ?

-this solution that can give such image :http://philibear.free.fr/test.jpg

is it the best ? how does he do ?

-------

To conclude :

Which Lcd do you advise me to buy not to be sad of the result ?

(300 $ max)

Thanks a lot for yours answers.

Frankie 🙂

yes different LCDs have different allowances for light to pass through them (can make a big difference) ... the easiest method to produce pretty good results is by using an OHP (overhead projector and an LCD panel) ... as all the lenses are setup for you, lighting & condenser lense are there (some OHP's don't include condesner lenses but they are usually easy to addon ... I have been reading this forum since pretty close to the beginning of it all and have seen a lot of people fail/give up, be prepared to do a lot of research if needed. 🙂
