LCD Projector Sketch Need Clarification

Hey
I'm considering building an LCD projector
I've made a sketch, sorry its soo bad but I dont want to make a 3D one if Im not sure this will work
The yellow shows the direction of light
About how strong of a bulb do you think I need?
Any particular mirror?
Where would I get a lense?
Will this work?

well you're on your way but......

some obstacles you are going to face on your way are :

1) light source (enough lumen, low heat emmission)

2) lcd (refresh rate, colors, enough pixels)

3) lenses (exact positionning, straight edges, screendoor effect)

4) I think that the mirror is the only thing that will NOT influence the result.


I suggest you start reading all the posts, while making notes in a notebook things that you read of people telling their failures!!!! and looking at results of succeeded set-ups

take your time, when I came in this forum (sept 2002) it took me a few days to read and absorb all the info.
