Guys,
For those of you who have built a projector with no mirror between the LCD and the objective lens I am interested in your methods for flipping the image 180 degrees about the horizontal axis.
In theory, the light should be able to be shined in both directions through the LCD since their is usually a polarizer on both sides and it should'nt matter which side the light goes through the color filter as long as the LCD pixel itself is not overloaded with light output.
I wonder if there is any image degradation as opposed to keeping with the manufacturers orientation of the backlight and flipping the image with software or VGA cable rewiring.
What are your experiences and obvervations.
