LCD not working?

Before mounting my stripped lcd to the projector, I've tested it and it works. Now that I've grounded everything and screwed everything onto place, I can't get a picture for my LCD. The LED turns on and when I turn on my computer or tv box, the light would begin to blink (probably because signal is detected). However when I put a flash light behind it, I don't see a picture. What could be the problem?
The FFC cable looks fine and the ribbons are plugged in correctly.

Did you work at a static-safe work area? If not, you may have killed the electronics.

Try using a fairly dim light to see if you have a picture. Some flashlights might wash out the image.
