OK, I have been checking this forum out for a couple days now, and love what you guys are doing. I am wanting to build one of these based on a 14" LCD Monitor at 1024x768. That gets me a nice high resulution for DVD's and COmputer. It seems that most monitors have circuits on the back of the panel that need to be moved. There seems to be one small brown cable in perticular. I have heard Molex sells cable like that. Do you think it would be easy as ordering a longer cable to push that board out of the way???? If yes, boom ready made high-res projector. I would solder it, but am not that good at it. Thanks in advance for all your guys help.

OK, looking around I found that it is Parlex not Molex that makes these cables. I would not think one would be to expensive to get a bit longer. What do you all think.

You are right on the money. Yander26 did this just recently with a 14 inch monitor, and he managed to fit it on an OHP. Search for his posts for details.
That small brown link cable is the one. Get a longer one rather than soldering. You realise monitors just have Computer input normally.
Best of luck.
