Hello everyone! I have been reading this forum for a few days and I am very interested in joining in on the DIY projection fun! I am looking to build something around thr 5-7" range. I do have a Viewsonic Viewpanel VPA150 that I want to sale or trade for an OHP. The monitor itself works fine but it has one of those notorious backlight problems. It stays on for a minute and flickers off and then back on...and so on. Yet, if anyone is looking for a good LCD for a DIY projector I think it is a good candidate. Sorry for the double post....I am also interested in trading for a 5-7" monitor. Something like a PSone monitor or something would be great. If anyone has any interest please let me know. If you have any siuggestions, they are welcomed as well.
A friend of mine has a PSONE screen I should be able get from him. Let me check on the way home from Boston tomorrow and if I can grab it I will definitely make that trade with you. How does that sound?

Sorry if the email I sent you is pointless. I just read TaskMasters' post and re-read yours. I am trying to understand what you are doing. Are you planning to use the Overhead pj for a projector using a 5-7" lcd panel? Is it for something else entirely? If you are using the OHP for a small lcd like that you will waste a lot of light and space. People have been making some incredibly small pjs with those little lcds. I wish I had half the ingenuity and creativity.

No I am not planning on using the small LCD on the projector. I have a LCD panel and I need a projector. Thats what I will use in the basement. The smaller LCD that I want will be used for a small projector for my bedroom.
