I'm looking for an LCD Display with a very good contrast like this:
With a black backlight and white or yellow character color.
I've bought the display shown on the image above but probably they modified the photo with photoshop because the actual contrast is not so good.
If someone knows where to find such lcd's I'd be very grateful.

VFD, defiitely, better than OLED IMO
heres the Noritake LCD replacement VFD, if you arent in a huge hurry we will be running a small GB for these in the 20 x 4 size (which is actually larger res) excellent displays and very wide viewing angle, which apart from the cool retro look is my main reason for choosing it over OLED

or the brand new larger 'pixel' version
