I stripped my Benq 557s V2 monitor and now I am wondering can this backlight be used without monitor driver boards.
I think that backlights are fluorescent bulbs, right ?
Can it be connected directly to ?? volts or it must have some sort of inductor, igniter or whatever connected to it.
Has anyone tried ligting this things up.
It would be cool to use backlight tooo ...say..look at my lung x-ray negatives 🙂)))
