I have a 2*200w LC AUDIO class D poweramp. About a year ago i tokk it out of my setup and renewed the electrolytics in the psu (one of them were bulgin), i put it back in my setup, and everything was working as it should.
About a month ago my fm tuner startet to freak out, distorted sound and a lot of background hiss, then i tried another tuner, and same problem, so my first thought was that there was something wrong with my rf signal, so for some time i stopped listening to radio.
Then yesterday, i tried to connect my old NAD218THX, and to my big surprise the radio started to behave normal😕 During the whole time the CD and the recordplayer havent behaved abnormally.
The Class d powerstage is influencing the radio, what can be wrong?🙂

RF generated from switching...This was one of the main obstacles when Class D was born, the steep switching flanks creates high frequency content that disturbs your turner.
When I tried the LC-audio modules some years back, they blocked my TV...🙂

Sounds about right, but why now? After years of problemfree use?🙂
Maybe one of the output filter components has failed ?
