Hi,
Im trying to launch exe/bat files on my http server from my client web browser.
I want to click on a button on a webpage on a client’s webpage and then wants it to launch a specific exe / bat file on my server end, must we continue?
Thx

For a start, you'll want to make sure you have access to some server-side scripting language such as PHP, CGI or ASP.
I have a option on my server where I can add mine objects, and a have some sort of cgi filter I have no idea what it is, and I have a lot of web designing knowledge but I don’t work with scripts I’m more into the graphics section
Yes, the OS is windows XP and the server is KF Web Server 3.1.0 I prefer KF Web Server because it has the ability to set password protected Webpages and is extremely easy for me to operate, and I use it for my CCTV monitor internal website, I don’t like Apache for some reason.
The season why I want to launch exe / bat files on my server is because I want to use my LPT port to switch relays on and off like home automation, I have basic knowledge of Qbasic and LPT ports, I’ve played around with some LED’s and Qbasic 6 yr ago
Here are some pages I really don’t understand that had a lot to do with this topic:
