Whats your operating points on the 30A?

If I am correct, the tube operates at around 300V anode to cathode potential, Vg=-2.4 Volts aprox which leads to 30-32 mA of anode current.

Peter, hey long time no see or talk... and I am still waiting for pictures!

I am wondering what the final colour will be and my guess is it falls more on black like your D3a MM amplifier. Though the white one still has it's advantages with the contemporary look and style.

Anyway, post pictures between you listening sessions and tell me when you will send the old completed projects overseas to me... you know, for safe environmental disposal as they are only taking up space in your house. I will do this at no charge to you. 🙂
