Hey Guys / Gals,
I have a Lanzar Vibe 1800D Mono amp I use to power a few low lvl JL Audio Subs that were given to me. I've used this same setup in my past 2 vehicles. I also have my highs and mids on an Alpine v12 amp that works just fine. I hadn't used the Lanzar in about 6 months, following me selling my last vehicle. I just started to install everything this evening. I got all wires ran to spec, drilled my hole for my ground and seem to be getting a fault light. The red light of death. I'm not sure what can be causing this problem. I hooked my other amp up to the setup and it works just fine, I traced the wires for knicks and cuts but did not find any. I took it apart just to see if I could notice any specific burns or soot within the case. Didn't find much but dirt and dust which I cleaned! 🙂 I took some pictures of the inside, maybe you can see something I cant. Please any help would be great full and much appreciated. Thank you again.😱

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

What do I need to test? I have used multi meters a lot. I am a computer science grad so fabrication was a requirement. Shouldn't be an issue. Just not sure what I am looking for.
you need to check the transistors under the clamps i circled them in the pic.
Set your meter to ohms and place black probe on the middle leg and the red probe on leg 3 (right one) you should get nothing near 0 ohms if you do post your results as followed
1-2:
do this on all of the transistors and list the ones that read near 0 ohms if any do.

The red LED comes on initially and remains on for up to 15 seconds. Did you leave the amp on at least that long to see if the LEDs would switch from red to green?
