I am on look for new kinds of lamp
, which are relevantly for our intend. so i make some suggestions.
please post what you think!
1. I`m using a projector for color slides. the bulb in it works for 24V 150 W. the projected images are unbelievable bright. a good advantage i think is that the lamp is very small and produce not to much heat.

2. there it gives these complete ballast kits with lamps for plantgrowing or aquaristik.
see here an example
do you think that's a good alternative for standart metalhalide?
the example kit use this lamp.
3. what do you think about osrams PLANON technology?
(look here for pdf)
i think it is to yellow and to weak in lightpower!?

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Well, I wont comment your questions a lot, but as you are thinking about 150w 24v halogen for a light source you'd be interested to visit my website where I have documented how I have retrofitted my projector with 150w/24v diaprojector stuff 🙂
