Hey Folks,,
I am trying to find out what kind of cement to use to hold the
shaft of a metal halide or UHP lamp in place. I have used the
pasty grey furnace /chimney cement in the past but it's a little
twitchy and prone to crumble. I can put the gray cement in the
rear of the reflector let it harden, drill it and then position the lamp in place
but it is always a little loose and not as good as the white
ceramic stuff the lamp makers use. Does anybody know what
they use or had any better luck with some other type of Cement?
Many Thanks in advance.
