Hey guys, ive just found this kind of beast.

It looks like a Tapped Horn, somebody know how this thing was designed and why "the construction is based on a series of finite horn segments that doesn’t exhibit any expansion to each other, instead it uses discontinuous steps the so called digital horn segments."
(taken from website)
It looks really interesting, 102db SPL in X x Pi 😀
But why should this design make more sence than a conical design, i´ve allready seen that at Xoc´s Tapped "Horn".
What do you think about this woofer?

The expansion, or how it is executed is results driven, either it works as intended or not. They must not be getting the results on paper, there are no plots in the "data" sheet... 😛
Probably the 18 sound driver. Whatever it is they don't have the actual CAD for it based on what they show in their video. B&C will supply CAD for their drivers.
The cabinet is a variant of Tom Danley's multi exit TH combined with the BC loading type.
But none of this really matters because this is DIY Audio where we do not rip off, a rip off, of a commercial audio design.

I just saw the YouTube video on my "suggested videos" & looked at their website. Went through the FAQ's and it sure does look like a tapped horn!
