I must confess that I did not search earlier threads... but anyway.
Does someone know instructions or is it even possible to do passive preamplifier using six relays which are controlled by multiplexer (MUX or is that even MUX or does that kind component even exist 🙂). Every relays have own attenuator resistor and every resistor acting like one bit so there is the least and the most significant bits.
6 relays means that there are 6^2=36 different combinations -> 36 different attenuator level (is it enough?).
This idea comes to my head like a flash from the sky so I quess this would not work 🙂
