Labtec LCS-2424 Stand Alone Sub Hack Attempt

Hi all! First post!

I used to have a complete Labtec LCS-2424 3-pc setup, but my daughter lost the the 2 sats, so Im sitting here looking at the sub, and that stupid jack in the back, looks like s-video/ps2 type, and Im wondering, can I just cross one set of pins to act as the missing "On" button and run input to a couple of other pins from rca subwoofer out on HK 5.1 amp?

I dont want to try plugging anything into anything until I got some schems/diags, so, does anyone know where I can view some? Please and thanks, if none are found, Ill try running a meter through the jacks pins and see if I can get a pretty spark..

So, this is a "standard" 9-pin a/v connector. My satellites are trashed as well and I'm having a hard time parting with this sub. I purchased a 9-in to 3 female RCA connector, then a male to male RCA to plug into my home theater. No dice. No power. I want to use this as such, but I'm missing something. The 9-pin has that many pins for various connections. I'm looking for the solution to this puzzle (my home receiver has a female sub plug). Does ANYONE know how to solve this puzzle?

I know this thread is super old, but I found this in a search. But never found a solution. Well I did find some connectors from overseas. Or i found a place in nebraska called surplus sales. They had two different types but a min order of $10 plus shipping. Video / Data Connectors

I just ended up cutting the end off and soldering the wires to the board. I found this pinout that helped.

Hope this helps someone else... now my speaker is working again.
