I'm new to working with amps that use a switching power supply, and this Lab Gruppen FP3400 has me treading cautiously with regard to hooking up my oscilloscope. Is it safe for my scope and the amp to connect a dummy load to the outputs and monitor a 1kHz sine wave with my scope (analog Tektronix)? Or should I be using an isolation transformer?
