I am interested in any information about the L. Tatro farm radios built in Decorah, Iowa 1929 to 1935 or 1936. I have 2 from ebay that need restoring.
Lyle Tatro and his brother Dewey owned the company, and they were first cousins to my grandfather Guy Tatro.
These are 6 or 32 volt volt DC powered and used vibrators. Some had AC conversions. Mostly used in rural areas that did not have AC power.
Please let me know if you have one, or see any at a swap meet or garage sale.

Just picked up a Tatro radio in Hot Springs, AR, have been looking for information on it The guy who owns the antique shop apparently restores a lot of radios, unfortunately he wasn't there the day we were. Next time we go by we'll see if he's got any more of them hidden away.
