Kyocera 10.4" SVGA LCD w/ Backlight

i found this in my search for dot matrix lcd displays today (for a different project) and thought i could share. i have a feeling this is not at all what it seems, because it is $24. although if it is, then i would deffenetly like to know about it, and im sure the forum would too.

it says it is 800x600 (svga)

1> it is STN not TFT
2> it only comes with LCD, no controller.

you can get XGA or better in TFT without a controller for $30 on eBay. so, I would say $24 is too expensive.
