It was meant very seriously rfbrw 😎
Dragonmaster why don't you obey to your own avatar?
That was 15 months ago -- I still didn't know that an LM317 was a regulator. Now I know how to use it. 😉
And did you see that I changed my avatar? There's a "So what?" now.

That's as may be but some of your recent stuff has been on a par with Terence and Philip.

Yes but its the way he tells them.
Hmmm.......Terence and Philip.........avatars......crappy animation...........gives me an idea. Something that I really don't need, especially when I have work to do. Shame on you!
I'll probably do it anyway.

What the heck do I need a squirril for? LOL
I'm ordering a custom crystal, but they're asking me what load capacitance I want. Doesn't say anything on the schematic or text file that came with it. What is it?
Elso told me a while ago, it's 30pF. Since it's custom you shouldn't have any problems, but if you look into available parts, there's only one website or two that has these Xtals.

Would you please post the web sites that have these crystals as available parts? Or would anyone care to recommend who is a good source of "good", custom crystals for this application? Elso?
Thank you,
Tom
I don't remember where I found one. Also, eveything depends of the speed of the Xtal you need. Some have plain 30pF HC49, but not with the speed you need.
