hi!i have a kw-avx720 head unit and it has a black screen!!when i press power button it beeps and the dvd is spinning but nothing else!!is there anyone with the same problem to guide me or someone to give an idea?thanks
Hi sound like your back light or it's supply might be shot. Verify by testing it's terminal on the front end pcb.
i solve the problem!!!if anyone has the same problem check first f901-f902 they are fuses for the voltage of the screen !!if one of them

I had the same problem with this model; No functions, only ATT button lit on face.
Took the thing apart and found fuses F901 and F902 (THANKS!). They were open so I replaced them.
Put the thing back together (not much fun) and the screen came on like a charm. It looks like it is going through an intro and the CD plays music normally.
BUT: it now looks like I have no button functions on the face. Not even the ATT button is lit up any more. Also there is no touch screen function, I mean there is an intro that tells me that it is ready for Bluetooth, etc. The JVC logo comes up etc. The CD was already inside and started up when I powered the unit. I have no volume control, etc.
Ideas? Thanks in advance.
