would mu-stage work well as a driver stage?

Much more often than not, UL mode without some help from loop NFB of some kind comes up short in the damping factor department.

I see no fundamental reason why a μ follower would be unsatisfactory in the driver role.

thank you for your opinion,
mu follower should be a good driver but never seen it driving kt88,
I will try it with nfb loop and without as well, see what's better to my ears.
