Has anyone compared these two amps with each other ?
I love my Aleph4 but as a dual mono build its weighs a staggering 52Kg.
I need the 100W of power so I've been considering the Jims Audio KSA-100 boards on E-Bay.

Why does the weight bother you? Do you have to move it often?
I have built the KSA100 as two mono units using the boards from the group purchase. I built the Aleph 2 in a similar way. I love both but would let go of the KSA100 before the Aleph 2, if that situation ever happens.

Make an F5Tv2/3 and you will not regret! If you have some concerns about F5, F5T is a different species soundwise.
After reading many threads on the F5T I have been lead to believe that it will not favour my 4-6 Ohm B&Ws.
I testet F5Tv2 on all speakers I have including Infinity Ren 80 and RS II — no problem! These speakers are 4 ohm and go down to 2.
I not sure a standard F5Tv2(two pairs of outputs) with 32V and 0.7A bias gives you 200W into 4 ohm, but according to Nelson gives you 44amps peak.
Nuts.

The boards are unforgiving. You can walk on them. You over load them. You can **** on them if you want. Why? I didn't know anything about building a amp. I, as crazy as I could be, but after reading all the available projects out there, I just went with the "Stolen KSA-100." After 18 months with the help of good people, I have pure class A music and that was all I wanted. Do you know what class 180 up and down sound add up to? Analog baby…….!!!!!!! What freak me out was that the Chinese call can transistors TUBES. There a few bad point that are covered in the "Stolen KSA-100……, but after that damn it's good.
