Dear friends.
I have a KRK V8 monitor system.http://www.soundsliveshop.com/p/KRK_V8_Series_2/KRK-V8II
The problem is that the cones of both loudspeakers do not move (as well as voice coils). The resistance is ok (around 8 ohms). The exterior of the loudspeakers is good (like new). What can be the reason of the problem and what is the solution?
Thanks.

Problem could be a shifted magnet, which is usually a result of dropping the speaker.
Its usually far easier to replace the driver than try to fix this - there's a horrendous amount of work involved in re-aligning a magnet, even for a factory full of the correct equipment.

i have krk monitors my self - and i doubt krk is selling replacement woofers them self - but i found various sellers on the net
KRK WOFK80105 Woofer For V8II, WOFK80105 | Full Compass
KRK Woofers - Speaker Exchange
and they are less expensive than what i thought... could actually be a good alternative for speaker building...

These are powered speakers aren't they. From what I gather the amp modules in these things are known to fail so you would be advised to open them up and test the driver first, otherwise may end up wasting money on the wrong fix.
Thanks everyone for the answers. The amp is ok (tested with other loudspeakers). So the best way is to buy new drivers. That allows me to 'destroy' the old ones. Can you please help me? How should I center the magnets? How should I check if that is magnets that fix the cone?
Just buy new ones and install. Then don't drop or bump them. Magnets on these things are huge. The frame of the speaker usually bends from a mechanical shock such as a drop or bump. You can try bending it straight, but I find replacing is best on these units. They are available, but expensive.
well if the drivers are "frozen" (the cones won't move) removing the center dust caps to visually confirm that the magnets have shifted would be step one.
Here is the photo with the dust cap removed. The magnet have shifted. What would be my next step? Thanks!well if the drivers are "frozen" (the cones won't move) removing the center dust caps to visually confirm that the magnets have shifted would be step one.
PS. I haven't removed the dust cap from the second loudspeaker yet, but the problem seems the same.

without the the right tooling it's nearly impossible to remove and re-center the magnet without damaging the voice coil. re-centering a magnet is generally done along with a full recone as the magnetic gap would be filled by a spacer to maintain the proper distance and allow the new epoxy/glue to cure.
if the center hole(under the screening) is threaded you might be able to remove the magnet and with luck and the appropriate thickness paper spacer against the inner of the voicecoil former possibly manage to re-glue the magnets.
i've only succeeded in this sort of thing a very few times myself most often my efforts turn into a damaged coil which necessitates sending them out for recone/recentering.
on one attempt i succesfully re-glued the magnet but also glued the voicecoil (the guys at the reconing shop had fun with that one)
