Dear All,
My father's Krell s-300i displayed the Output Current Over Limit before going to a hard to read message on its screen. Any thoughts on causes, etc. area appreciated. I searched for it and could not find it.
Best,
Dario

Unfortunately Krell,s own website "owners manual isn't much of a manual the amplifier itself being logic controlled .
A very basic schematic is available online but no values shown nor is the logic section .
What you need to do is interrogate it but that needs the push button actions to be known first .
Obviously a safety device has activated which could mean either of two things in a digitally controlled amplifier-
1- it needs reset .
2- it needs repaired .
The basic circuit doesn't look too hard to trace but the problem with digital equipment is that the actual amplifier is interfaced with logic control so I can understand why they don't show the rest of it .
Step one would be a reset try and see what it says .

Thank you duncan2
I will look for instructions on resetting the unit and will see if that helps. Best, dasolis
