Hello gents,
Thinking of having a KSA200 re-biased , Amp has just received a refreshing
(caps , diodes et al) and have no need for the toaster oven feel, so instead of pulling it's usual 12amps continuous i was contemplating a modest ( by krell)
3-4 amps idle current..
Any thoughts? what kind of negative impact if any could or would be expected ...

Hi,
try it, reduced ClassA bias cannot damage the amplifier. It will raise the supply rail voltages slightly.
Measure the existing bias accurately before you start so you can return it to spec if you don't like the result.
Maybe a switched bias for summer or winter use? One of the KSA50 Klones had this.
