Can anyone who has a Krell KAV 300CD please measure the secondary outputs of the transformer.
I would be much appreciated
Thank you Paul

Hello Paul
I have the same problem with my Krell 300CD now.
Can you tell me the secondary AC Voltages of the transformer?
Especially these for the +/- 18 Volt rails of the output stage PSU will be helpfull as a reference.
Best regards
Marcel

Analysis is trivial. Using a blunt stick, each junction needs nearly 1 Volt to stay alive. Counting up from 18V out, we need more than 22V in. OTOH over 50V in is pointless and will will blow-up some caps. Very likely the happy DC is somewhere in the middle. My sliderule says 23.xxx? VAC.
