I'm looking for high quality aluminum knobs. Yes I see the ones on the store. Who thinks the garish chrome knobs would look any good with a black or silver faceplate. So only one choice Black. Would like to find some along the style of
Counterpoint with that sculpted look or something like the Audio Research. Any one know? DIY Audio store should offer much bigger selection.

I'm with you there! It hard to find nice knobbies for projects, even the thousands at digikey seem kind of cruddy. I eventually found some like the old counterpoint/ Levinson but I forget where.
