Klipsch Heresy II woofer replacement

I have Klipsch Heresy IIs with the K-24 woofer, I can get a pair of K-28-E (Heresy III) woofers at a very good price.

I already upgraded the tweeter to a titanium diaphragm, do you think upgrading the woofer to the Heresy III type would be worth it?

I have a pair of late 85 Heresy which are all but H2 and I also have a pair of H3. The K28 is a better woofer than the Heresy woofer and the Forte woofer is better again than the K28. Madisound have a big bad Chinese woofer for about $50.00 each which I recommended to a chap at AK who bought them and was very pleased with them. Serious woofer stupid price well built. some guys at at Bill Fitsmaurice's site bought and tested this woofer and found it to be as advertised. You cannot beat the price.
You should also consider the jump to the Ti mid diaphragm from Klipsch. Hope this is of interest. Best regards Moray James.

I went ahead and replaced the K-24-K drivers with new K-28-E drivers. It definitely gave the bass a bump up. Not night and day different but enough to justify the expense 😀
