you might want to see the schematic of the mosfet design of John Linsley Hood.
That was designed by him in 1989 with Hitachi mosfets in the output section.
Runs on 35 volt rails for something like 35-40 watts continuous output power, designed to be used in (partial) class A but the output power is scalable.
Your precious mosfets would be perfect for it, you can try googling for the design.

I posted that schmt several months ago-with silly question "what ya think 'bout this?"....
seems that nobody was pleased with that schmtc.....
