The amp plays well at low volume but when I turn up the volume it starts to goes into protect ..anyone have any ideas what might cause the issue ..
I have same symptoms on 2 pa amps one crown one yamaha and the problem was the op amplifier chips.Check the pins from op for +- dc supply check with oscilloscope feed 1khz signal in and out the op amplifiers.Check all the power rails for proper voltage best if you have the unit service manual.
