Hi guys, im new to this website and have installed a few headunits aswell as a few subs successfully lol, however as a mini project i have decided to add an additional unit to my cars audio set up, and im having slight difficulty with the wiring.
the set up is as follows-
Kenwood kdc 4551ub (head unit)
2 stock speakers in the front door cards
2 after market speakers in the parcel shelf
(which both are powered by the head unit and NOT by an amp)
I also have a Juice D28 2000W double 8" active subwoofer (which obviously has a built in amp)
Now my newest edition to the family is a second hand Kenwood KGC 9044 Graphic Equaliser, the main problem is that im struggling with the wiring, i have had a look at the manual online and 😕 i havent got a clue with how to wire this up, just lookign for some guidance with this, ANY info will be greatly appreciated 😀

The EQ is preamp-level only so you'll have to have amplifiers to use the EQ with the high-end speakers. You may be able to insert it in-between the head unit and the sub but it won't be of much use there.
so does this mean i would have to power my 2 after market and 2 door speakers with an amp, and then i would be able to wire the equaliser up?
