Hi the Kendeil K5 series 20.000 uF 40 V cost 4.10 Euro a piece here. Original caps and way cheaper than the other brands. It made me think they're nothing special but I ordered them anyway as their price is good and they're supposed to be good caps. Never used them before so I am curious how they will perform.

If we pay 4.10 Euro for italian caps you must be able to find them in Italy for that price 😉

When I buy something, usually I do a little search about it.

If you search about Kendeil, you'll find that they're some of the most appreciated caps.

And if you search, you'll find (I repeat) there's no way you can buy an original 20000uf Kendeil for 4 euro.

The net is fully of fake Kendeil caps: here you have Kendeil black list of known fake Kendeil caps producers

When I buy parts I always do my research and I won't deny that I am a fool but...these are 100% original caps coming from the official distributor. Caps don't have to be expensive when bought in large quantities from industrial distributors. When the word "audio" is mentioned prices will suddenly rise to exceptional levels... Let alone that Ebay is involved...

IMO a fool would pay too much for standard quality industrial caps. These are not magical parts or something like that. If you want them I can order them for you if you like so you can check them.

Take it easy guys . It's a swap forum and one is free to ask as much as he thinks it's appropriate. There is nothing wrong with a comment or two but no reason to go overboard. Hardly anybody makes anything on DIY . I think I could assemble two nice setups on the money I spent on all the junk I have stashed away while my main system sucks like hoover😀

You are very right and my intention wasn't to question the prices the seller asks but merely the comment he gave on another member that posted the low prices of such caps over here.

But ... I just found out what the reason is for the low prices. The company stops with parts sales and although they don't mention it they clear stocks of all parts they sell.... There is a reason for everything. Still it's a very nice opportunity to buy good caps for good prices.
