KEF Kube-1 replacement crossover pot

I haven't used my KEF Kube-1 in quite a while, so when I got it out today I found that the crossover pot has broken. I would like to try and replace the broken pot myself, but I've no idea what type to get, or even where to get it. Can anyone give me a bit of advice on this?

Sure.

I was hoping to see some markings on the back of the pot.

I read elsewhere that a physical impact on the control knob can break the pot's resistance track.

Would you be able to remove the pot from the circuit board for close inspection and to attempt a resistance measurement?

At the very least, we may be able to replace the pot with two fixed resistors.

Hey thanks for taking such interest in this. I was hunting the web high and low for information about this sub, possibly even buying a complete replacement volume/crossover board.

So I have a friend coming tomorrow morning to take the board out. I couldn't remove the knobs from the pot posts. They're a very tight fit and I didn't want to force them too much in case I caused more damage. Once the board is out I will be able to get the pot off and see if there are any markings on it. I'll take some photos along the way and post them for you.
