picked up a set of lovely 103.3 with the kube, speakers need the usual foam surrounds replaced where the bass dustcaps are and perhaps the ferrofluid in the tweeters.
What i need advice on is the kube. The PSU supplied has seen better days, i was able to open it up to find a simple EI type transformer supplying dual voltages of 19.1vac. This drops down to around 18.5vac when connected to the Kube.
Can i buy a rcore or toridial transformer to replace this? something like 20-0-20 30-50va?
Also plan to replace the electrolytics and opamps. Any recommendations for the opamps?
They are TL072CP ive read elsewhere that OPA2134s are a suitable drop in replacement.
