I am thrilled to announce the launch of our new DIY speaker portal at Audiophile DIY Community!!
The portal is designed to be for everybody, but right out of the gate it will appeal to those who are looking to build the best speakers possible. I felt that my own learning curve would have been shortened considerably if I knew what the total breadth of skills that are required, what type of project to start on, where to learn things, where to buy things, blah, blah, blah.
There are both free and commercial products from Kaya. All are focused on DIY. And there is a ton of information about where to get the tools you need to successfully reach your version of DIY nirvana!!
This is just the start. From here we plan to augment the content with education material from DIYers and undertake the seemingly impossible task of an FRD database. Yup, another try!!
To christen the site we are offering a free download of the first 'Kaya Build Bundle' to the first 100 registrants for the community. Our first project was Dick Olsher's BassZilla and we can say it truly is an unbelievable speaker. We'll also be raffling off 100 more to the first 1,000.
See you there. Build well and listen!!
Cheers,
Tim
