Apparently the vinyl version is great sounding..I bought Norah Jones first album..listened to it a few times..will probably never listen to it again..boring is her middle name! Quite the opposite to her father Ravi Shankar. The last female jazz singer that was that boring was Astrud Gilberto. (Who never had a training and had never sung before on a recording, and in that sense did not even do such a bad job...)
Just had a look at the ZDF video..Katie is a foxy lady..technically not a good voice..but anything is better than Nora.
She is still quite young, maybe she'll learn more. If you want to hear technically perfect singers (if they exist at all, and I don't even know if we would want those) then you shouldn't listen to most pop singers anyway.
